ABOUT OUR PLATFORM
Hi, I’m Stefano Creatini
Perma Resilience was founded in 2020 by Brett James with a simple but demanding goal: help people move beyond permaculture theory and into real, lived resilience.
Brett built the foundation and the early curriculum. As the project evolved, he passed the torch to me so the work could expand into deeper, real-world application. I didn’t rebrand Perma Resilience. I took responsibility for it.
My name is Stefano Creatini. I am a full-time homesteader, real estate investor, and permaculture practitioner. Everything taught inside Perma Resilience is drawn from systems I am actively building, managing, or repairing on land I own or control.
I came to permaculture through necessity, not aesthetics. I have been kicked off land. I have structured bad deals. I have built systems that failed and redesigned them under pressure. Those experiences shaped how Perma Resilience operates today.
When I took over Perma Resilience, I integrated Brett’s original educational vision with my own hands-on work in regenerative agriculture, land acquisition, and resilient homestead design. That includes food production, energy systems, water, soil regeneration, and the financial structures that make long-term land stewardship possible.
Creative real estate and land access are not the focus of permaculture, but they are often the bottleneck. My background in seller financing, negotiation, and deal structuring exists to support the permaculture work, not replace it. That thinking led to my book, Buy Land Without the Bank, which documents how I acquired and nearly paid off a seven-figure homestead using direct negotiation and creative terms rather than traditional bank financing.
Perma Resilience today is a course plus community. The course provides structured education in practical permaculture and resilience systems. The community is where those ideas are tested, challenged, and refined by people actively building farms, homesteads, and resilient livelihoods across the world.
Alongside this work, I document my projects publicly through YouTube and other platforms. That visibility is not branding. It is accountability. The systems taught inside Perma Resilience are visible in the real world, including what works and what does not.
This is not a guru platform.
It is not passive education.
And it is not theoretical.
Perma Resilience exists for people who want land, food security, and autonomy, and who are willing to engage with the complexity required to build those things honestly.
If that describes you, you are in the right place.
